Back Pain, Stress, Sports injury, Breathing problems and others can be due to your habitual patterns. The Alexander Technique teacher will observe you and together you will learn how to get rid of unhelpful habits that might be the reason of your Back Pain, Stress, Injury, poor Posture among others.
Mindful movements are not very common in a rushing world. The Alexander Technique Teacher will help you to get this awareness. What is happening to your body while your are rushing? The pains and aches I have could be due to the unawareness of the way I use my body.
Observing the student mindfully is a big part of my work as an Alexander Technique Teacher .We will go through all the habitual patterns that the student goes through a normal day, these might be the source of bad Posture and different physical pains such as lower back pain, neck and shoulder, heacaches among others.
Hands on session that will alleviate different pains and aches related to holding unnecessary tension in different parts of the body such as lower back pain, Neck and shoulders pain, knee pain, etc.
Putting You First
I hear your story and take a detailed history. To that end, I create an individualised treatment plan including Continued Care aimed at achieving the functional goals we set together. Body and mind work together therefore, I will make sure the student is doing well in both levels together with her/his emotions.
